We specialize in the drafting of bills of costs, opposing of bills of costs and the taxation of bills of costs. Mr B.S. Coetzee and Mrs N.M.A Kruger are appointed Taxing Masters of AFSA in Pretoria.
Our team consists of 8 legally trained individuals providing legal costs services.
Drafting of bills of costs
Fees
10% of total of fees as taxed or settled. (Disbursements excluded).

Insolvency matters
Appearance before Taxing Master
Attendance to have the bill of costs taxed; including service of the Notice of Intention to Tax and / or obtaining Consent to Tax in insolvency matters.
Fees
Fee as allowed by the Taxing Master at taxation or by opponent on settlement.
Settlement of bills of costs
Fees: 5% of the total fees as allowed as a settlement fee.
Opposing of bills of costs
Either by attendance before a Taxing Master or negotiations with opponents with the view of settling costs, including the drafting, service and filing of the Notice of Opposition.
Fees
10% of all amounts taxed off (saving) from the amount with which the bill of costs was reduced after taxation / negotiations with opponents.
